“Investment cycle worth EUR 5.5 billion begins”

Deputy PM Zorana Mihajlovic on Wednesday in Belgrade opened the conference “Transport & Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region TIL 2019.”

This event is attended by companies that will, together with Serbia, realize a new investment cycle in infrastructure worth more than 5.5 billion euros.

Mihajlovic told reporters at the Sava Center conference hall that she expects Serbia to make significant progress in the field of transport logistics as soon as in a year’s time.

“It is important to show what we are doing in the area of ​​infrastructure and logistics, and from year to year we have had an increasing number of participants at this conference, which shows that Serbia is gaining an ever more important place in the field of transport infrastructure and logistics,” said Mihajlovic.

She also pointed out that a new investment cycle in infrastructure worth more than 5.5 billion euros is starting and that companies participating in the conference areinterested in working on these projects in Serbia.

Mihajlovic said that the conference will contribute to “Serbian companies exchanging their experiences.”
