Israel’s investments reach more than one billion EUR

Investments of Israel in Serbia reached over one billion EUR and the interest of Israeli companies was growing, primarily in the energy sector, “clean technologies” and water purification technologies, Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Alona Fisher-Kamm said. “Since 2000, one billion EUR was invested in real estate sector, while in the first six months the tourism registered 300 percent increase in comparison to the first half of last year”, she said in an interview for Biznis Magazin. Kamm said that an agreement on protection of investments and cooperation in agriculture was signed between the two countries, while signing of the agreement on avoiding double taxing should follow.
