Italian exports to Serbia +22%, president Tadic in Milan

Serbia’s exports to Italy increased 22% in 2011, with a volume of business equivalent to 1.15 billion euros, as emerged in the workshop “Serbia: opportunities for investment and commercial exchange”, organized in Milan by the Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of the Serbian President Boris Tadic and of the Serbian Finance vice minister, leading a delegation of 100 Serbian entrepreneurs.

According to what was made known by the Chamber of Commerce, in 2011 interchange between Italy and Serbia was over 2 billion euros, a 15% increase compared to the previous year. In particular, Italy is just behind Germany with 850 million worth imports from Serbia (a 7% increase compared to 2010). Also in 2011 Lombardy was the first Italian region in the commercial exchange with Serbia, with a total of 700 million euros, one third of total Italian exports to Serbia.
