Italy’s Confenzioni Andrea signs MOU with Serbia for the construction of a factory of tarpaulin covers for vehicles and motorcycles

Serbian Government and the local self-government in Jagodina have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the company Confenzioni Andrea from Italy on the construction of a factory of tarpaulin covers for vehicles and motorcycles in Jagodina. The factory will be built in the Industrial Zone, on Corridor X, next to an international highway and the Belgrade-Nis railway.The project envisages employment of about 500 workers.

It is a new Greenfield investment in the automotive industry worth €10 million and it will be the first big factory in the Industrial Zone in Jagodina. By building this factory, Confezioni Andrea intends to expand its production capacities in order to respond to the needs of its clients: Audi, BMW, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Ford, Hyundai, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Suzuki.
