Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, talked today with the new Ambassador of Japan to Serbia, Takahita Katsumata.
Mali emphasized that Japanese investments are of exceptional importance for Serbia and added that our country wants to have even more Japanese companies, technology and knowledge.
He especially thanked the ambassador for the investment of the Japanese company “Tojo Tires” worth 382 million euros, which started the construction of the plant for the production of car and truck tires in Indjija at the end of last year.
Mali added that the announced investment of the Japanese company “Nidek”, which plans to invest a lot of money in the construction of a new factory for electric motors in Serbia, is especially significant, Novosti reports.
