President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Christoph Leitl said in Belgrade Monday that Serbia could be proud of the reforms it had carried out in the recent past.
Leitl told reporters that every business location had its advantages and disadvantages, pointing in particular to bureaucracy and lengthy permitting processes as something that should be improved, but also to considerable progress that had been made.
Every year we conduct a survey among Austrian businessmen in Serbia, and last year’s showed that Serbia has greatly improved as a place to invest in. You can be proud of that, Leitl said.
He said that Austrian businessmen have a lot of trust in Serbia, and vice versa.
We cooperate in all fields. Serbia is on the road to the EU and needs investment and support on the way, and we will do all we can to help, said Leitl.
