The tender documentation will be available to all interested persons from December 8, while the final deadline for submission of written requests for its procurement is December 15, 2010. The public auction is planned to be held on December 24, from 11 AM.

Earlier, in September, the Ministry of Economy of Serbia announced that Dutch bus manufacturer VDL would become a partner of Ikarbus after the termination of the sales contract with the Russian partner and the transfer of the management of that Zemun-based company to the Privatization Agency.

This government authority owns 49.4% of the Zemun-based bus manufacturer, while the company’s largest minor shareholders are SEE Capital Group and Delta Generali Osiguranje, which have been acquiring shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
