“Serbia boasts a wealth of talented experts and companies in artificial intelligence, blockchain and IT, positioning us to compete with the world’s leading nations. The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) aims to equip businesses with new tools, enabling them not just to keep pace with global trends but to lead them,” stated Čadež during an interview on TV Pink, as reported by PKS.

He highlighted the necessity for PKS to provide innovative solutions that help its members stay competitive. Čadež also noted that the domestic IT sector has experienced remarkable growth, averaging 30 to 35 percent annually for over a decade.

Furthermore, he reflected on the success of the Serbian economic delegation’s meetings at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. “We engaged in numerous bilateral discussions with various foreign ministers, showcasing investment opportunities in Serbia. We agreed on making Belgrade a hub for the World Trade Center, an organization that connects 300 trade centers globally. The Chamber will hold the licensing rights, and we plan to establish a substantial business center at our premises in Terazije to facilitate partnerships for our economy,” Čadež emphasized.

He also mentioned that significant business forums and connections between local companies and large enterprises were established in New York, with a notable delegation from Kazakhstan expected to visit in November. “Additionally, we had fruitful discussions with the Greek Foreign Minister, where our companies are thriving in cosmetics and sports equipment, each operating over 30 stores and continuing to expand,” Čadež added.
