Stellantis has announced that the sale of the electric Grande Panda, manufactured at its factory in Kragujevac, has officially begun. Customers in France and the Netherlands can now place orders, with plans to expand sales to additional markets in the future.

No separate fund for Grande Panda purchases

In our country, citizens can access state aid to support the purchase of electric vehicles, a measure already in place. However, there will not be a dedicated fund specifically for the Grande Panda, dispelling recent misconceptions. The Ministry of Environmental Protection has allocated funds to encourage electric vehicle purchases, including the new Grande Panda, as part of its initiative to improve air quality and environmental conditions.

As of now, the ministry has received 117 applications, with 91 meeting the criteria for subsidies. Among these, 64 applications came from legal entities and 27 from individuals. For 2024, the Ministry has budgeted 170 million dinars to support the purchase of new electric vehicles under the Serbian government’s regulation.
