In March of this year, the overall industry turnover in Serbia has increased by 0.4 percent compared to March 2023, as per data from the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS). Compared to the 2023 average, it shows a higher increase of 10.2 percent. Analyzing by sector, the mining sector saw a significant 29.2 percent rise in industry turnover in March this year, while the processing industry sector experienced a slight decrease of 0.9 percent.
Breaking down by markets, RZS data indicates a 1.3 percent growth in industry turnover on the domestic market, juxtaposed with a 0.5 percent decline on the foreign market.
