Serbia’s largest solar power plant unveiling: Nofar Adria leads the charge

The upcoming unveiling of Serbia’s largest solar power plant, located in Ada, will mark a significant milestone for Nofar Adria, a Belgrade-based company primarily owned by Israeli firm Nofar Energy.

With a total capacity of 26 megawatts, this solar facility represents a substantial investment of 30 million euros and is expected to generate approximately 33,150,000 kWh of electricity annually. Spanning 30 hectares in Ada, the project signifies a significant step forward in Serbia’s renewable energy landscape.

Notable figures, including Joav Shafrir, Nofar Adria’s CEO, Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Jahel Vilan, and Serbian Minister of Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović, will attend the groundbreaking ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade on May 27th.
