The Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, Zorana Mihajlovic, said that tonight Serbia will have a complete supply of gas coming through the gas pipeline through Bulgaria.
“New information related to the gas pipeline in Bulgaria says that the gas pipeline has started filling gas for Serbia, and that tonight we will have a complete supply of gas coming from Bulgaria, which was not available in the previous two days,” said Mihajlovic, opening the 10th International days of energy and investments in the Master Center of the Novi Sad Fair.
She added that the disappearance of gas coming to Serbia via Bulgaria showed how vulnerable the energy system is.
“Therefore, there is really no better time than this to talk about energy and investments, considering that this event is held at the same time as the conference in Glasgow,” she said.
According to her, Serbia can and should be a champion in the energy transition, so that it is energy sufficient, environmentally clean and climatically satisfied, that is, it has such a preserved healthier environment and climate that can ensure its development.
Jubilee Days of Energy and Investment are organized with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Energy, Construction and Transport.
Special attention will be paid to the issue of increased use of green energy and energy efficiency.
Among the panelists of the Energy and Investment Day are representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
