Serbia enters EFTA on October 1st – Duty free export to multimillion market

An agreement with Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Lichtenstein enables a duty-free export to the market with 13 million citizens.

Application of the special free trade agreement (EFTA) will commence on October 1st and, on that occasion, the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and the Customs Administration will organize a meeting tomorrow, which will be dedicated to the specific characteristics of that agreement and the possibilities of its application.

Serbia signed that free trade agreement with the countries members of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Lichtenstein, on December 17, 2009.
