Serbia, Gabon to improve bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture

Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management Dusan Petrovic talked yesterday in Belgrade with Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development of Gabon Raymond Ndong Sima about the improvement of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Petrovic said that the meeting focused on possibilities of cooperation, first of all the industry of tractors because there is a great interest in making important deals between Serbia’s tractor industry and Gabon’s economy.

The Minister said that fishery was also recognised as a promising field of cooperation.

One of the topics of the meeting was also the possibility of trade in all food products, as well as the development of relations between agricultural institutes from Serbia and the corresponding institutions in Gabon, he said.

Petrovic said that a memorandum of cooperation between Serbia and Gabon at the level of two ministries should be signed within next few months so that some of the issued discussed today could be implemented.
