Serbia’s Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic stated that as for the environmental sector, Serbia has fully harmonised its legislation with that of Europe and is ready to launch negotiations on the most demanding Chapter 27 of the European Commission’s Questionnaire as soon as it is granted EU candidate status.
Speaking at a “Green Serbia” conference, Dulic underlined that the adoption of all laws and by-laws in the environmental remit is one of the greatest achievements of this government, noting that in the period ahead their implementation at the local level throughout Serbia should be closely monitored.
