Serbia has no major exporter except Fiat Automobiles Serbia (FAS), Business Info Group said, noting only this company’s exports exceed EUR 1 billion annually.

The company has recently been renamed to FCA.

Economic expert Zoran Jeremic said, while presenting a survey on the country’s most successful companies in Belgrade on Tuesday, that Serbia “has no exporters in the category of EUR 400 million to 1 billion of export value.”

“The Kragujevac-based FAS company realized EUR 1.36 billion worth of exports and EUR 929 million worth of imports in 2014,” it was said.

The restructuring company HIP Petrohemija from Pancevo recorded exports worth EUR 148 million, while its imports totaled EUR 21 million. Yura Corporation from Raca ranks third on the list, with exports at EUR 119 million and imports at EUR 42 million.
