Boler brings positive impressions from Belgrade, and as the most important he points out that, as he says, a new era has entered in the relations between Serbia and the USA.
– Serbia now has the opportunity and ability to take a much better place on the world economic scene, as well as to realize its full potential – said Adam Boler, executive director of the American International Development Financial Corporation (DFC), in an interview with “The Pavlovic Today”, talking about his vision of Serbia and its potential, and after visiting our country.
Boler, as he says, carries positive impressions from Belgrade, and as the most important he points out that, as he says, a new era has entered in the relations between Serbia and the USA.
He assesses this as an opportunity for Serbia, considering that it is able to take a much more important place in the world economy, to realize its potentials now.
In an interview for the Washington portal, Pavlovic Today emphasized that Boler said that this was a major step forward and pointed out that the new era of American-Serbian relations was a welcome change after two decades of a long delay in resolving the so-called Kosovo issue.
– That is the biggest thing and it is connected with changes – he pointed out, noting that US President Donald Trump set a completely different approach to improving relations with Serbia and investing in the Boler region.
He added that everyone thought that it was not possible to do that, but that the President of the USA, envoy Richard Grenel, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Pristina were ready to say that we should not stay in the past, but that we should move forward.

For the Washington portal, Boler conveyed the impressions that during the high-level meetings in Belgrade, as he says, there was great excitement on both sides.
– People were very excited – he said, commenting on the welcome with which he was greeted by John Jovanovic, who was appointed director of the DFC office in Belgrade.
Boler stated with satisfaction that they made an effort to elect John Jovanovic (who is of Serbian origin).
– We didn’t just go and find someone in the government, who has been working there for 20 years … That would be bureaucratic, wouldn’t it? I think they really appreciated that – he said.
He revealed that he found Jovanovic through David Pin, the senior vice president of the Office for Strategic Initiatives of the DFC, who is in charge of foreign policy development.
When asked what his vision of Serbia is, which he hopes will revive it economically, Boler said that he believes that the relationship between Belgrade and Pristina in some way hinders Belgrade much more than Pristina.
– I say that considering how much Serbia would benefit from economic foreign investments – said Boler, noting that he thinks that this is an opportunity to start a different era of American-Serbian relations and that Serbia is capable of really taking a much more important place in world economy and to realize its potential.
