Serbia should be the center of distribution in the region

The Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia, Tatjana Matic and the Ambassador of China to Serbia, Chen Bo agreed that trade, tourism and telecommunications are very important areas of cooperation between Serbia and China, in which the two countries are long-term reliable partners whose cooperation is greater, the ministry said.
Matic pointed out that she sees the potential for increasing trade between the two countries and the placement of a larger number of quality Serbian products on the Chinese market in the Serbian food industry.
Regarding the interest of Chinese companies in building a logistics center in Serbia, Ambassador Chen Bo confirmed that Serbia should be a distribution center in the region and announced that she would work on presenting potential investors in order to increase production capacities in Serbia.
In the field of tourism, the interlocutors pointed out that it is necessary to continue promoting the tourist offer of Serbia, in order to return the results achieved before the pandemic when Chinese tourists were in the first place in terms of the number of foreign tourists in our country.
The Minister and the Ambassador also concluded that telecommunications is one of the most important areas of cooperation between the two countries, which should be further developed, together with the development of online payment systems and joint work on infrastructure projects, the statement said, N1 reports.
