The „Majevica 90“ tractor with modern technology, 90 horse power, air conditioning and 12 speeds will go on sale at the end of the summer, and it will be produced by the company „Majevica servis“ from Bačka Palanka, from which they point out that a repayment period of up to seven years, as well as the possibility of commodity exchange.

The tractor will be sold together with six attachment machines, so it will have everything needed for small and medium-sized farms, but this type of mechanization will also benefit larger farms, said Radovan Komad from the sales department of this company for the Novi Sad portal Dnevnik.

He added that more than 50 percent of the components in the tractor will be domestically produced.

“On this occasion, we produced some parts ourselves, but we also cooperated with 40 subcontractors from all over Serbia, and more than 800 components of the new Serbian tractor were made in our country. What we had to import was the Perkins engine and the Carraro transmission.” He pointed out, reports Tanjug.

When it comes to the price of the tractor, it is stated that it will be known by the end of the summer, before the tractor goes on sale.

Komad explains that the most time was invested in the search for companies in Serbia that, together with “Majevica”, would participate in the production of this tractor, because they wanted as many domestic components as possible.

Likewise, considering that the idea for the production of a Serbian tractor came about two years ago, the engineers and employees of this company faced challenges brought by the time of the pandemic, which we successfully overcame.
