Serbian companies are obliged to make disaster risk assessments and protection and rescue plans

The Government of Serbia has adopted the Decree on the content, manner of preparation and obligations of entities in connection with the preparation of disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plans.
Companies and other legal entities, which are of special importance for the economy, especially in the field of energy and mining, and which have organizational units that represent critical infrastructure facilities throughout the Republic, are obliged to develop an assessment and plan, which will ensure their efficient functioning.
– The application of this document will provide the necessary level of standardized approaches in the formulation of content, method of development and application of methodological rules in the development of all risk assessments and protection and rescue plans. The main purpose of standardization is to create conditions for coordinated and mutually harmonized functioning of all entities involved in this system – it is stated on the Government’s website, eKapija reports.
