Zoran Micovic, the Director of the Veterinary Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia, said today that 17 companies from Serbia should obtain permits, in three weeks at the latest, to export meat, milk and meat and dairy products to the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Micovic said to the press that Russian veterinary inspectors had been staying in Serbia over the previous two weeks in order to determine the readiness for such export, while the final decision would be made in about three weeks.

The Director of the Veterinary Administration is of the opinion that a positive report on export is certain and that Serbia, with certain facilities, will be put on the list of exporters.
