Serbian government decided to decline offer made by Telekom Austria

Serbian government decided at yesterday’s session to decline the offer made by Telekom Austria for the purchase of 51% of government shares in Telekom Srbija.

The government tasked the Ministry of Finance to inform Telekom Austria about this decision.

The government was acquainted with the progress of the sale process and accepted a recommendation by the working group which conducted the process.

It also passed a Bill ratifying an agreement between the Serbian government and the Albanian Council of Ministers on regulating Albania’s debt to Serbia.

It adopted a Programme of Support to Sustainable development of Agricultural Production in Underdeveloped Municipalities of Sjenica, Tutin, Prijepolje, Priboj, Nova Varos and Novi Pazar.

It also decided to reduce and limit the number of civil servants in ministerial cabinets.
