Representatives of the International Monetary Fund’s mission, headed by Jan Kes Martine, visited the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government to discuss human resources management reform with Minister Branko Ruzic and his associates.
“The ministry is constantly working on activities aimed at better management of human resources in the administration, but also in creating a better working environment”, the minister said.
He stressed that while the reform of the wage system has been delayed, it is still working to prepare the acts that underpin the implementation of the new wage distribution system.
“Together with the Ministry of Finance, we are considering and analyzing all the possibilities, the effects of such a system, in order to have a sustainable and fair system”, Ruzic said, noting that special attention is paid to the conditions in which people in the Administration work.
They must have “dignified working conditions and be motivated so that we can demand them to be even faster in providing services to citizens”.
