Serbia’s Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management Dusan Petrovic stated that €50 million for irrigation purposes has been earmarked in the agrarian budget for 2012.

Appearing on the Pink Television, Petrovic underlined that Serbia is among the lowest-ranked states in Europe in terms of the percentage of irrigated land, which is why it loses at least half a billion Euros a year.
