Tadic to open Serbia’s consulate in Montenegro

Serbian President Boris Tadic will pay a visit to Herceg Novi, Montenegro, on Wednesday, where he will open a consulate of the Republic of Serbia with his Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanovic, the Serbian president’s press service released in a statement.

Tadic will also visit an exhibition in the city gallery and attend a reception organized by the city of Herceg Novi, the statement reads.

The Serbian government named Marina Jovicevic as consul general in Herceg Novi on March 3.

Jovicevic has an extensive diplomatic record, and up to now she has been an assistant to the minister of foreign affairs.
