The Fund for Innovative Activity of Serbia allocates non-refundable funds for the development of innovative companies

The Innovation Fund has published a call for grants in the amount of up to 80,000 and 300,000 euros, respectively, in order to develop innovative companies.
Namely, all innovative companies in the private sector can apply to the Innovation Fund for grants until August 31, through the Early Development Program in the amount of up to 80,000 euros and the Innovation Co-financing Program in the amount of up to 300,000 euros.
– The goal of these programs is to encourage the creation of innovative companies based on knowledge, through the establishment of “start-up” or “spin-off” companies in the private sector – states the Fund.
Micro and small companies established in Serbia, in majority private domestic ownership and not older than five years, as well as teams of up to 5 people, can apply for funds within the Early Development Program.
The funding allocated by the Fund covers a maximum of 70% of the total eligible costs of the project, the duration of which can be a maximum of 12 months.
Funds are allocated individually, to the project in the amount of up to 80,000 euros.
Through the Innovation Co-financing Program, financial support of up to 300,000 euros per project is granted, and the beneficiaries are micro, small or medium-sized companies with majority private ownership registered in Serbia.
The support enables the development of new products, services and technologies with added value and encourages the commercialization of research and development of existing innovative companies, as well as the establishment of cooperation / partnerships with international companies / organizations.
The funding allocated by the Fund covers a maximum of 70% of the total eligible project costs for micro and small enterprises, and 60% for medium-sized enterprises.
