The Government of Serbia has adopted several amended regulations in the field of agriculture, which are aligned with the budget rebalancing for 2023, which will enable the continuation of the payment of benefits per hectare, premiums for milk and incentives for quality breeding cows, funds for all public calls that have been announced during this year, as well as support measures for confectioners.

As specified, the Government of Serbia adopted amended regulations on the distribution of incentives in agriculture and rural development in 2023, on financial grants to agricultural holdings for the agricultural production of plant crops in 2023, on an extraordinary intervention measure to support manufacturers of confectionery products for the purchase of milk in powder.

The decree on the extraordinary intervention measure of support for legal entities and entrepreneurs who store raspberries and cherries for the year 2022 and the decree on determining the financial support program for agricultural producers of sunflowers for the year 2022 were adopted and amended.

As it was pointed out, the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management for this year after the rebalancing was increased by the amount of EUR 296 million and amounts to EUR 976 million.

The amount of total subsidies in agriculture with all sources of financing is EUR 860 million.
