The largest Serbian construction company at a loss

The largest domestic construction company, Energoprojekt holding (ENHL), published consolidated financial statements for the period January-June, which show a decline in sales and a negative end result, primarily due to weaker revenues in the domestic market. Consolidated operating income in the first six months fell 13.8 percent to 83.3 million euros, primarily due to reduced sales on the domestic market of 27.4 percent. At the same time, the trend of declining business abroad was stopped, where the growth of income of 10.6 percent was recorded.
When it comes to profitability, the operating loss was 1.8 million euros compared to the operating profit of 1.2 million euros last year, while the net loss in the first half reached 3 million euros.
The company’s operating cash flow (OCF) in the first six months amounted to 3.7 million euros (a decrease of 61 percent), while the net debt at the end of the period amounted to 33.5 million euros, which is a decrease of 5.2 percent, the company has about 322 million euros of business left for realization (171 million in the country, 151 million abroad). This year, it is planned to contract 242.7 million euros of new jobs, and in the first six months, the plan was realized with 47.7 million euros of contracted jobs, mostly abroad, BiF reports.
