The Post of Serbia wants to strengthen cooperation with the Post of Turkey

Acting Director of the Post of Serbia Zoran Djordjevic and Ambassador of Turkey in Belgrade Hami Aksoj talked today about the most important areas for improving cooperation between the two countries in terms of international postal traffic and services.
The cooperation and connection between the Post of Turkey and the Post of Serbia can be far greater, in order to follow the modern and better relations between the two countries, as well as the development of markets and trade relations, the interlocutors concluded, the Post of Serbia announced.
Djordjevic stated that the Post of Serbia is a regional leader in postal and logistics services and that in partnership with the Turkish Post it will strengthen its role internationally.
“Turkey is a very important partner of Serbia and today’s meeting aims to launch an initiative for new joint projects of postal operators, to whom we will accompany and adequately respond to the growing e-commerce – by improving the quality of service we provide in international postal traffic and the development of overall logistics capacity,” said Djordjevic.
He also announced a forthcoming meeting of the heads of post offices of the two countries, at which frameworks would be established for joint appearance and better positioning on the international market, as well as stronger connections between citizens and economies of Serbia and Turkey. “Turkish Airlines” commercial flights, which, along with the extensive network of international lines of the national airline “Air Serbia”, will give new impetus to international postal traffic, but also to the development of trade in a wide geographical area of the region and Turkey, Beta reports.
