Vucic confirms Serbia’s participation in Expo 2020
, NewsSerbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Juma Rashid Al Dhaheri, to whom he handed a letter confirming Serbia’s participation in Expo 2020 as an opportunity for the country to best present itself in the Middle Eastern region.
Vucic and Dhaheri discussed overall Serbia-UAE bilateral cooperation and ongoing joint projects.
They expressed satisfaction with the progress of the Belgrade Waterfront project as one of the drivers of the Serbian economy, the Serbian government said in a statement.
They said agreements can be expected on new forms of cooperation in various fields, such as agriculture and tourism.
Vucic sent an official invitation to Sheikh Mohammed to visit Serbia, noting that exchanges of visits at the highest level have contributed to a booming relationship between the two countries.
