Wizz Air to operate five new flights from Belgrade

Hungarian low-cost air carrier Wizz Air will introduce five new direct flights from Belgrade in its summer flying schedule and operate them as of Sunday, March 27.

According to the data on the company’s website, Wizz Air will be flying from Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade to Brussels, Eindhoven, Goteborg and Stockholm, as well as to Memingen, which is about 110 km away from Munich in Germany.

The low-cost airline from Hungary also announced that it would open an operating base in Belgrade.

Wizz Air started operating flights from Belgrade in June 2010 when it was transported passengers to Dortmund. The company introduced flights to London-based Luton airport in July and to Rome and Malm in Sweden in December 2010.
