Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday received Indian Minister of State Jitendra Singh to discuss bilateral relations, the migrant crisis and a greater presence of Indian entrepreneurs in Serbia.
The level of political relations between the two countries is very high, but the economic relations need to be worked on, a statement from the Serbian government press office quoted Vucic as saying.
“We need to boost the economic cooperation between the two countries,” Vucic said, proposing establishment of working groups to strengthen Serbian-Indian trade relations.
He also thanked the government of India for its principled position on Kosovo-Metohija and for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
Singh invited Vucic to visit India next January.
