The World Bank has kept Serbia’s economic growth forecast for 2021 at five percent in a new June report “Global Economic Outlook.”
This international financial institution thus remained with the projection of the growth of the Serbian economy in 2021, which increased by 1.9 percentage points in April compared to the forecasts from January.
The new report, published today on the World Bank’s website, also maintains Serbia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast for 2022 at 3.7 percent, which also increased by 0.3 percentage points in April compared to January, while a growth rate of 3.9 percent is projected for 2023.
At the beginning of this year, we remind you that in the January forecasts, the World Bank predicted the growth of Serbia this year of 3.1 percent and the growth of 3.4 percent in 2022, Dnevnik reports.
