The Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, stated that the price of gas will not increase until the end of the year, because there is a long-term contract with “Gazprom”.
“Srbijagas has the obligation to negotiate with ‘Gazprom’ for a possible annex to that contract or for a new contract for next year,” Zorana Mihajlovic told RTS.
As for oil derivatives, she pointed out that the state will not increase prices with its duties, and added that what cannot be influenced is the price of oil on the world market, which has gone from 50 to 70 dollars in the last two months.
When it comes to the price of electricity, she says that for now there are no requests or thoughts about increasing the price.
“It is much more important that we do everything in the next couple of years to reduce the consumption of electricity and heat, to help citizens have smaller bills through green energy,” said Zorana Mihajlovic, N1 reports.
