In March, a third less real estate was sold or purchased in Serbia than in the same month last year, according to data from the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ).
Last Friday (April 3rd), there were 70 percent fewer transactions compared to the pre-emergency period in the country, Tanjug was told by the RGZ.
“According to the authoritative data of the Republic Geodetic Authority, 30% less transactions were made in March this year compared to March 2019,” RGZ said.
They state that last month 65 percent of real estate purchases were made for cash, while 35 percent of real estate purchases were made from loans.
In March last year, that ratio was 70 percent of cash purchases and 30 percent of loans.
When it comes to falling or increasing real estate prices, CES data say that there were no significant changes in real estate prices in the country last month.
On March 24, the Government of Serbia adopted a Decree on the application of time limits in administrative procedures during a state of emergency, in accordance with which the RGZ adjusted its operations.
That regulation states, reminded competent, that parties in proceedings before state bodies, during a state of emergency, cannot bear the consequences of their failure to act within the time limits prescribed or determined in accordance with the laws governing general administrative procedure or special administrative procedures.
In the Republic Geodetic Authority, administrative cases are received through payers, which are, first and foremost, notaries and courts, and professional users – licensed geodetic organizations, lawyers and banks.
All communication is done digitally through the service line of state bodies and e-counters, and those interested in the status of the solution in the RGZ can find that information on the Institute’s online bulletin board, B92 reports.
