Agricultural products in Serbia have risen in price by 20 percent in a year

The prices of agricultural and fishery products in May this year were higher by an average of 20.4 percent compared to the same month last year, the Republic Bureau of Statistics announced.

The biggest impact on higher prices was achieved by the group of Industrial Plants, where the increase was 84.8 percent, and grain with 47 percent higher prices than a year ago.

Compared to April this year, prices in May were higher by 3.4 percent.

Industrial plants had the biggest impact with a price increase of 9.1 percent, and grain with 8.2 percent higher prices, RTV reports.
