Belarus-Serbia commission on trade, economic cooperation to sit in Belgrade on 18-19 April

The tenth session of the Belarusian-Serbian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation and the ninth session of the business council for cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Serbia will take place in Belgrade on 18-19 April, BelTA has learned.

A Belarusian delegation went to the Serbian capital with a view to taking part in these events on 17-20 April. The delegation is led by Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Minister Vladimir Koltovich, who is the chairman of the Belarusian part of the Belarusian-Serbian intergovernmental commission.

Apart from that, Belarusian-Serbian ministerial consultations will take place in Belgrade in this period. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. The consultations will touch upon a broad range of cooperation matters, including the advancement of political relations, trade, economic, scientific, and technical cooperation, humanitarian and interregional cooperation in addition to the international agenda. Oleg Kravchenko will also take part in sessions of the intergovernmental commission and the business council for cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Serbia.

The Belarusian antimonopoly regulation and trade minister told Serbian reporters that these events are expected to expand Belarusian-Serbian contacts across the board and to find new vectors of cooperation in modern conditions.
