For four consecutive months, the Belgrade Airport has been breaking records in the number of passengers, registering 438,980 passengers in October, which is a 9 pct increase compared to the same period last year, the airport said in a statement.

In this period, there were 5,098 take-offs and landings (a 5 pct increase), while the increase of postal and cargo traffic amounted to 19 pct.

Since the beginning of 2016, the airport has serviced 4.25 mln passengers, which offers realistic hopes that the 5 mln mark will be reached by the end of the year, the statement said.
