The Directorate for Agrarian Payments has published the first Public Call for applications for approval of the project for IPARD incentives for farm diversification and business development, and the subject of this call are investments and eligible costs in rural tourism.
The deadline for submitting requests is from July 1 to October 1 this year.
IPARD incentives are determined as a percentage of up to 65 percent of the value of eligible investment costs, less the amount of value added tax.
The beneficiary of IPARD incentives can exercise the right to incentives in the amount of at least 5,000 euros, and a maximum of 300,000 euros upon request, regardless of the total value of the investment.
IPARD is a pre-accession program of the European Union, intended for rural development, and in order for a country that has received the status of a candidate for EU membership, such as Serbia, to use the money from that program, it must first establish a special system for its planning, allocation and control which is based on the concept and rules that exist within the Common Agricultural Policy, Nova reports.
