Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic spoke with Chinese Minister of Transport Gao Yang Chuantang to discuss building the high-speed railway Belgrade-Budapest, as well as ways of financing this project. The officials highlighted the need for a feasibility study to be completed by June next year so that the construction could be finished by June 2017.

The project to build a double track line for high-speed train, which would go 200 km an hour, was initiated during the visit of Prime Minister Vucic to China in September this year.

The bilateral meeting with the Minister of Transport of the People’s Republic of China marked the beginning of activities related to the Summit of the People’s Republic of China and 16 Central and Eastern European Countries.
