Eleven Serbian companies are present at the largest fair of the food industry in Russia

Eleven companies from the food industry will once again present their offer and export potential at the Prodexpo fair in Moscow, from April 12 to 16, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) announced.
Within the National Pavilion of Serbia, at the largest exhibition of the food industry in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), production programs and export capacities will be presented by the companies “Mlekara Sabac”, “Mlekara Ub”, “Imlek”, “Padinska Skela”, “Carnex”, “Meat industry” Topola, “Backa Topola”, “Masli” Leskovac, “Zlatiborac”, “Etn Group”, “Master Fruits”, “Mambikom Agrar” and “Mirax Agrar” Belgrade.
Organized by PKS and the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS), the offer of frozen fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products, cured meat and delicatessen products, ready meals and pates, as well as dried fruits will be presented at the fair in Moscow.
The director of the PKS Representation in Moscow, Dejan Delic, said that thanks to the unique, preferential trade agreement with Russia, Serbian products were “initially more competitive in relation to other, imported products”.
“In 2020, Serbia exported the freshest apples, soy, cheese, peaches and nectarines, dog and cat food, fruit seedlings, fresh strawberries, frozen fruit, raspberries and blackberries, and despite all the aggravating circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Serbian exports are recording positive results and a growth of 5.2 percent,” he said.
Prodexpo is visited by 70,000 people from over 110 countries, and this year it will feature 2,660 exhibitors from 73 countries, BizLife reports.
