Exports of goods and services from Serbia, during the first ten months of this year, increased by 27% compared to last year.
At the same time, statistics show that imports are 23.5 percent higher. Goods worth 17.60 billion euros were exported, and 22.98 billion euros were imported, so the “deficit” amounts to 5.37 billion euros and is 13.2 percent higher than last year.
Foreign trade was the largest with countries with which Serbia has signed free trade agreements. The member states of the European Union had a share of 60.8 percent in the total exchange. Our largest individual foreign trade partner was Germany, to which we exported goods worth 2.23 billion euros, and imported 3.04 billion, Novosti reports.
