The business of PE “Srbijagas” in 2019 was marked by a positive movement and improvement of most business indicators, according to the information of that company after the meeting of the Supervisory Board.
According to the report, the level of collection of current overdue receivables amounted to 92 percent in the last year, while the collection of receivables from previous years significantly increased.
Srbijagas achieved a greater physical volume of transported and distributed natural gas and as a result – a positive financial result, ie operating profit and net profit, was announced after the session on the adoption of the Annual Report on the implementation of the annual business program.
Although the purchase price of imported natural gas had a slight upward trend, there was no change in regulated selling prices in 2019, Srbijagas said.
“Thanks to streamlining expenditures and increasing revenues, we have been able to achieve an extremely good result”, said Supervisory Board Chairman Muamer Redzovic.
Last year was marked by the construction of an interconnector main gas pipeline on the territory of the Republic of Serbia from the border with Bulgaria to the border with Hungary, Dnevnik reports.
