Five faculties will increase tuition fees from the next school year
, NewsA total of 26,435 students will be able to attend undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies next year at the study programs of the University of Belgrade. The Senate of the University considered and adopted the proposals for the amount of tuition fees for the school year 2022/2023. year, and after several years, five faculties will increase tuition fees for undergraduate, three for master’s and four for doctoral studies.
Next year, 15,033 students will be able to enroll in basic academic studies, and 9,683 budget and 5,350 self-financing places will be determined for them.
9,588 places are planned for master’s academic studies – 4,019 budget and 5,569 self-financing, while 1,814 doctoral students will be able to attend doctoral studies, 637 at the expense of the state and 1,177 self-financing.
From next year, tuition fees will increase from the Faculty of Mining and Geology, from 57,000 to 66,000 dinars, the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy from 66,000 to 75,000 dinars, the Faculty of Organizational Sciences from 138,000 to 145,500, the Faculty of Biology from 80,000 to 90,000 dinars, while the Faculty of Economics will years to pay from 97,175 to 127,863 dinars, depending on the success, ie the number of points earned during the school year. So far, the students of this faculty have allocated from 92,022 to 121,082 dinars.
According to the data submitted to our editorial office by the University of Belgrade, it is planned to increase tuition fees at the Faculty of Mining and Geology from 98,000 to 114,000 dinars, the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy from 78,000 to 88,500 and the Faculty of Biology from 80,000 to 90,000 dinars.
As part of doctoral studies, tuition fees will increase at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, so future doctors of science will allocate 114,000 dinars instead of the previous 99,000 from the next school year. The Faculty of Economics will increase tuition fees from 200,047 to 211,250, the Faculty of Biology from 100,000 to 110,000 dinars and the Faculty of Geography from 110,000 to 125,000.
Tuition fees for undergraduate studies remained the same as in previous years at the Faculty of Medicine – 126,600 dinars, at the Faculty of Political Sciences (from 100,000 to 110,000 dinars), at the Faculty of Mathematics, depending on the direction (from 72,000 to 180,000 dinars), Faculty of Security 118,200, to the Faculty of Teacher Education 102,000 dinars.
Self-financing students will have to pay 119,000 dinars for enrollment in basic studies at the Faculty of Philology, 99,000 dinars for the Faculty of Law, 118,548 for the Faculty of Philosophy, 100,000 dinars for the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and 86,000 dinars for the Faculty of Geography.
The most expensive tuition in one direction of the ETF
Although some faculties did not change the prices compared to last year, the most money for tuition fees for undergraduate studies next year will have to be allocated by freshmen of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering who enroll in software engineering, 243,500 dinars.
Students who want to enroll in the Faculty of Architecture will traditionally have to set aside a large sum of money – 240,000 dinars. At the same faculty, doctoral studies are the most expensive, for which it is necessary to set aside 300,000 dinars, Biznis writes.
