German Grammer invests 1.07 million euros in factory in Aleksinac

Expansion of automobile seats production capacity

Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Mladjan Dinkic will sign a contract today in Aleksinac with the German automobile seats manufacturer Grammer on 1.07 million euros worth of expansion of its plant in that town and employment of 211 workers.

As the Ministry of Economy of Serbia announced, the Government of Serbia will support expansion of the plant in Aleksinac with an investment of EUR 844,000, that is, EUR 4,000 for each newly created job.

The products of that plant will be built in Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Opel, Sab, Ford and Toyota automobiles.

That is the second phase of investing by the German company Grammer in Serbia where that company now employs 515 workers.
