Gorenje buys Porcelan’s production hall in Zajecar

Slovenian company Gorenje bought the production hall of Zajecar-based company Porcelan in bankruptcy at the yesterday’s auction. According to the preliminary contract signed in late January, the company from Slovenia is going to organize production of washing machines and sinks at that hall, which will primarily be intended for export.

Gorenje will employ 300 people in Zajecar over the next three years. In the production hall, spanning 1,800 square meters, Gorenje will invest RSD 1.1 million, while EUR 2.9 million will be invested in the product portfolio of the new plant.
