For the first time since WWII, Serbia’s budget is set to end a year with a surplus, even without major privatisation revenues, says Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic.
“The government budget will have a surplus despite all the payments made in December, including 42 mln euros for missiles for MiG jets and 105 mln euros for the petrochemical plant,” Vucic told TV Prva late Tuesday.
Even after repaying all old debts, we will have a government budget surplus, he said.

The government deficit, which includes project and municipal loans, will be at 1.4-1.5 pct, which is significantly lower than in some EU countries, even some of the more developed ones, Vucic said.
