Nikola Avramović, currently serving as Senior Director for Financial Consulting in Austria, will assume the role of Regional Director for this area within Alvarez & Marshall, one of the world’s top four consulting firms.
Renowned for its involvement in resolving the high-profile bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers in 2008, which sparked the global financial crisis, Alvarez & Marshall brings a wealth of expertise to the region.
The expansion of Alvarez & Marshall into Southeast Europe heralds new opportunities for firms and financial institutions, offering specialized services in areas such as corporate restructuring, rehabilitation, mergers, acquisitions, and business optimization.
While Alvarez’s presence in the region is not entirely new, with Antonio Alvarez III previously managing the Agrokor company in 2017, chosen by Russian banks, this latest move signals a broader commitment to the burgeoning economies of Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and beyond.
