The specialized publication “Gray Book of Innovations for 2024” offers proposals to relevant institutions to address administrative barriers faced by innovators in order to strengthen the domestic innovation system. In its second edition, it presents 45 concrete recommendations, including 12 new ones. It suggests changes to 52 regulations aimed at improving conditions for innovators.

The three key recommendations from this latest edition of the publication are: creating conditions for cooperation between science and the economy through funded doctorates, simplifying the import of unregistered medical devices for research and development purposes, and enabling local government data storage in the cloud.

Out of the 60 recommendations from the first edition of the “Gray Book of Innovations,” published in April 2022, a total of nine have been resolved, while progress in the resolution process has been noted in six others. The Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation has shown the most openness to the needs of innovators, having completely resolved three recommendations, partially resolved two, and showing progress in one recommendation.
