The foreign trade exchange between Serbia and Slovenia in the past three years has exceeded one billion euros and there are great opportunities for it to be higher, as well as the total mutual investments, said the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) Marko Cadez.
“Serbian companies have invested more than half a billion euros in Slovenia in the last few years, and Slovenian investments in the Serbian economy are worth more than a billion euros in ten years,” Cadez said.
He also pointed out that SCC and its representative office in Ljubljana make a great contribution to this cooperation, and that with the strengthening of the capacity of Serbian companies to export and invest outside our country and the opening of Slovenia to our economy, more and more Serbian products, companies and investments Slovenian market.
“Apart from business systems such as MK Group, Comtrade, Delta or Nectar, in recent years an increasing number of small and medium-sized companies from Serbia have decided to start a business in Slovenia. Slovenia is recognized as a desirable business and investment destination, and the Slovenian market as a step for further penetration into the large, single market of the European Union,” said the President of the SCC.
Cadez stated that more than 4,000 companies from Serbia trade with partners from Slovenia today, and that exports to that market increased by 28% compared to the previous year, Politika reports.
